K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR has achieved its fifth consecutive entry on the U.S. Billboard 200, solidifying its growing presence in the global music scene.

On November 4 (local time), U.S. music media outlet Billboard announced via its official social media that BOYNEXTDOOR’s fifth mini album, The Action, ranked No. 40 on the Billboard 200 chart dated November 8. This marks a rise of 22 spots compared to their previous album No Genre, which debuted at No. 62.

With this achievement, the group — consisting of Sung Ho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak — has now entered the Billboard 200 with all five of their mini albums:

  • WHY.. (No. 162)

  • HOW? (No. 93)

  • 19.99 (No. 40)

  • No Genre (No. 62)

  • The Action (No. 40)

BOYNEXTDOOR is the only K-pop group from their debut generation to achieve five consecutive Billboard 200 entries, highlighting their strong and consistent global popularity.

The group’s latest release has been performing impressively across major markets. According to Hanteo Chart, The Action recorded 1,041,802 copies sold in its first week (based on sales from October 20–26), marking BOYNEXTDOOR’s third consecutive million-seller. The album also topped both the Hanteo Weekly Album Chart (October 20–26) and Circle Chart’s Weekly Album Chart (October 19–25), while dominating Apple Music Korea’s “Top Albums” from October 21–27.

In Japan, the album ranked No. 2 on both Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales (October 20–26) and the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and Weekly Combined Album Ranking, further demonstrating the group’s strong presence in the Japanese market.

The title track “Hollywood Action” debuted at No. 36 on Melon’s daily chart and No. 21 on its weekly chart — the group’s highest chart position to date. It has since risen to No. 19 on the latest weekly chart (October 27–November 2), maintaining steady growth. The track also reached No. 6 on Japan’s Line Music Weekly Top 100 Songs (October 22–28) and continued charting on QQ Music’s “New Songs Chart” in China from October 21 to November 3, showing strong global appeal across multiple major music markets.
