Singer Lim Young-woong has achieved a historic feat by winning the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) Popularity Award for the sixth consecutive year.
From October 16 at 10 a.m. to November 5 at 11:59 p.m., voting took place for the 10th Asia Artist Awards 2025 (AAA 2025 10th Anniversary) Popularity Award. Lim Young-woong claimed first place in the Male Solo Artist category with 1,097,937 votes. He was followed by SEVENTEEN’s DK (91,141 votes) in second place, NCT’s Doyoung (38,650 votes) in third, Stray Kids’ Seungmin (19,616 votes) in fourth, and BTS’s V (18,357 votes) in fifth.
Voting for the 10th AAA 2025 Popularity Award was conducted through the mobile idol fandom application Idol Champ, jointly operated by MBC PLUS and TNK Factory, a mobile advertising platform company. The final winners were determined by combining 30% of the preliminary voting results and 70% of the final voting results.
Earlier, in the preliminary round held from September 24 to October 13, Lim Young-woong also topped the Male Solo Artist category with 182,669 votes (28.94%). BTS’s Jimin ranked second with 57,403 votes, and BTS’s V came in third with 52,585 votes. SEVENTEEN’s DK and Stray Kids’ Seungmin followed in fourth and fifth with 46,550 and 33,200 votes, respectively.
With his overwhelming lead, Lim Young-woong has officially secured the Male Solo Artist Popularity Award at the 10th AAA 2025, marking his sixth consecutive win in this category.
