World’s first sign language idol group Big Ocean has confirmed the date for their year-end solo concert in France.
According to their agency, Parastar Entertainment, Big Ocean (members CHANYEON, PJ, and JISEOK) will hold a solo concert titled “HEARTSIGN: When Hands Sing, Hearts Answer” at Bataclan in Paris on December 7. The group decided to host this special year-end performance to repay the enthusiastic support from local fans. Notably, Big Ocean’s previous concert in Paris during their first European tour “Underwater” last April was completely sold out, raising expectations for another memorable night.
The upcoming concert “HEARTSIGN” centers on the theme of communication that transcends “sound” and “silence.” It embodies Big Ocean’s unique identity—music that “sings with hands and responds with hearts.” The title itself, HEARTSIGN, symbolizes the group’s philosophy of expressing emotions and stories through sign language.
The concert venue, Bataclan, carries deep symbolic meaning as a historic site associated with healing, recovery, and rebirth. Through “HEARTSIGN,” Big Ocean aims to create a moment of heartfelt connection, delivering the message that music extends beyond sound—reaching from heart to heart. The group’s message goes beyond a simple stage performance, seeking to create a shared moment where empathy itself becomes music.
Meanwhile, Big Ocean will release a Christmas carol titled “RED-DY SET GO” on November 23 at 6 p.m. (KST) through various music platforms. They are also scheduled to appear at “Korea Spotlight” in Barcelona, Spain, on November 25.
