'Simu-myeon Yeon-ri-ri' Lee Soo-kyung has received a debt collection notice.

In the ninth episode of the KBS 2TV Thursday drama 'Simu-myeon Yeon-ri-ri' (script by Song Jeong-rim, directed by Choi Yeon-su), which aired on the 21st, the story depicted Sung Tae-hoon (played by Park Sung-woong) struggling to protect the village of Yeon-ri, which was in crisis, alongside Im Ju-hyeong (played by Lee Seo-hwan).

Previously, Sung Tae-hoon had distributed fertilizer free of charge to residents, promoting a win-win partnership between the food conglomerate 'Matsori' and Yeon-ri. However, the next day, a bizarre phenomenon occurred where the fields of Yeon-ri were covered in white mycelium, plunging the village into shock. Residents, including Im Ju-hyeong, could not hide their anxiety that a past nightmare might be repeating itself.

Sung Tae-hoon calmed the agitated residents and took direct action to resolve the issue. He earnestly pleaded with Im Ju-hyeong, saying, "I will find a way somehow, so please buy us some time and don't call the disinfection vehicle yet. I will definitely save those fields." Thereafter, he fought desperately to find a solution based on his experience as a researcher at a large corporation. Im Ju-hyeong, trusting Sung Tae-hoon's sincerity, joined him in investigating the site and contributed to tracking down the cause.

Sung Tae-hoon attempted to seek help from the 'Matsori' research lab, but he was troubled by the ambiguous attitude of Executive Bae (played by Bae Ki-beom). Ultimately, he independently took action to solve the problem by commissioning a soil analysis from an external institutional investor.

Meanwhile, Jo Mi-ryeo (played by Lee Soo-kyung), who had run away and was staying at the house of the village head and his wife, was surprised to learn that the food brought by Im Bo-mi (played by Choi Gyu-ri) was made by Seong Ji-cheon (played by Lee Jin-woo). She also displayed complex emotions as she envied the daily life of the Im Ju-hyeong family. Upon hearing that the youngest child, Seong Ji-gu (played by Yang Woo-hyuk), was sick, Jo Mi-ryeo immediately headed home. The children regained their composure upon their mother's arrival, evoking a touching moment. After a marital dispute, Sung Tae-hoon and Jo Mi-ryeo, who met again, made efforts to understand each other's positions, gradually restoring their relationship. Seong Ji-cheon, who made a major life decision, reached out to Jo Mi-ryeo first and requested a conversation, raising expectations for an even stronger family bond.

Towards the end of the broadcast, a court registration demanding debt repayment arrived for Jo Mi-ryeo. Her stunned appearance foreshadowed new conflicts within the Seong family. At that moment, Sung Tae-hoon held up the soil analysis results for the Yeon-ri fields alongside Im Ju-hyeong, building maximum curiosity for the next episode.
