Actor Lee Jae-wook finished strong with 'Doctor Island Boy'.

In the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Doctor Island Boy' (directed by Lee Myung-woo, written by Kim Ji-soo, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by The Studio M, based on Kakao Page's 'holding strategy (holding through volatility)doctor' by writer Kim Tae-pung), which concluded on the 7th, Lee Jae-wook portrayed Do-ji, a public health doctor.

In the drama, Lee Jae-wook vividly expressed the character's deep-seated trauma from losing a friend on an island, his psychological turmoil caused by unjust accusations, and his relentless struggle to uphold his beliefs, thereby heightening immersion.

Particularly, he heightened tension by being falsely accused as the cause of a helicopter crash and dragged into controversy over drug use. After enduring successive trials such as removal from duty and the crisis of closing the branch clinic, he revealed the county magistrate's embezzlement and reclaimed the clinic, conveying a powerful impact through a dense portrayal of Do-ji's resilient inner strength.

He also deepened the romance by depicting his tender feelings toward Ha-ri (played by Shin Ye-eun) and his role as a reliable pillar of support, leaving a lingering impression with an ending that confirmed their unwavering love even as they moved on to their respective paths.
