Actor Yoon Kyung-ho embarks on a 13-hour vow of silence amid the hit run of the drama 'Minister Kim.'

Yoon Kyung-ho will begin his 13-hour vow of silence starting from SBS Power FM's live broadcast 'Two O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show' (hereinafter 'Cultwo Show') on the afternoon of the 13th.

The vow of silence on this day originated from a discussion about viewership ratings during last month's production presentation for SBS's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Minister Kim.' At that time, when asked about a viewership pledge, Yoon Kyung-ho said, "Since Ji Seok-yeop is returning to SBS after 13 years, I hope Season 2 will be produced if the ratings exceed 13%," and added, "I will try a 13-hour vow of silence," setting his own pledge.

Among these, 'Minister Kim' recorded a national viewership rating of 15.7% based on Nielsen Korea in just two episodes, surpassing the mythical 20% mark within four episodes with 21.5%. Consequently, Yoon Kyung-ho has found himself in a situation where he must honor the vow of silence pledge he made.

Additionally, Yoon Kyung-ho announced that a silent signing event would be held following his radio appearance on this day. The signing event is scheduled to take place around 4 p.m. on the 13th at the SBS Broadcasting Center in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, immediately after the live broadcast of 'Cultwo Show' concludes.

Most importantly, during this signing event, fans will be allowed to speak, but Yoon Kyung-ho will absolutely not be able to say a word. Given that he has been beloved for his witty banter in numerous variety programs and YouTube content, all eyes are on whether he can successfully complete the 13th-hour vow of silence.
