'Creepy Love' star Ong Seong-woo shared his thoughts on taking on a villain role.

On the 14th, a production presentation for tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Creepy Love' (script by Choi Jung-mi, directed by Lee Min-soo) was held at Ellyena Hotel in Seoul Gangnam-gu. Attendees included director Lee Min-soo and actors Park Eun-bin, Yang Sejong, and Ong Seong-woo.

'Creepy Love' depicts a chaotic occult romance between a chaebol heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate prosecutor who fears them the most. The drama is a remake of a film of the same name.

Kang Min-hwan, portrayed by Ong Seong-woo, is the heir to CL Hotel & Resort Group and CEO of CL Raymond Hotel. Regarding his role as Kang Min-hwan, he stated, "He is the CEO running a hotel. He appears gentle on the outside but harbors immense ambition within."

Ong Seong-woo, who is showcasing a villainous role in this project, said, "I always want to show new sides of myself. I'm often told I look upright, so I wanted to present a different image beyond that."

He added, "When it comes to a villain, isn't he someone who can create tension for others within the story? I thought it would be thrilling if a character not present in the original work could generate new tension, so I decided to join the project."

Meanwhile, 'Creepy Love' will premiere on the 18th at 9:10 p.m.
