Troubles pile up for Kim Hee-jung's children, escalating the conflict.

In Episode 5 of the KBS 1TV daily drama "Mom Is Crazy" (screenplay by Na Seung-hyun / directed by Sung Jun-hae / produced by Fantagio and Monster Union), airing at 8:30 p.m. on the 2nd, another incident strikes Jo Mi-mi (played by Kim Hee-jung), who is already in shock over the divorce of her eldest son, Kang Gangnam (played by Kang Eun-tak).

In previous episodes, worried about her eldest son, Kang Gangnam, who could not be reached, Jo Mi-mi went to his home only to learn he had already moved out, leaving her stunned. Meanwhile, Kang Da-mi (played by Jung Min-a) was left in a state of impending turmoil after hearing an unexpected confession from Kim Mi-sun (played by Kim Ga-ran) that she had divorced Gangnam.

Ahead of the broadcast on the 2nd, production staff released footage of eldest son Kang Gangnam returning to his mother's home. The production team stated, "Upon her son's sudden return, Jo Mi-mi suspects that the cause of the divorce is an affair by Kang Gangnam and presses him aggressively. While Kang Gangnam protests his innocence, he hesitates as if there are circumstances he cannot bring himself to reveal. Viewers will be left curious about the true reason for the divorce that Kang Gangnam finds it difficult even to confide in his family."

Kang Hak-seong (played by Lee Han-wi) takes another step closer to Mi-mi's family. The production team revealed that while looking for a house in the same neighborhood as Mi-mi's family, Kang Hak-seong unexpectedly finds himself on the verge of running into his mother, Choi Soon-deok (played by Yang Hee-kyung).

Meanwhile, Jo Mi-mi visits her second son, Kang Dae-chi (played by Kim Jong-hoon), and is confronted with an unexpected sight. Upon discovering seizure notices posted in various places around the house, Jo Mi-mi is left in shock, as if she cannot believe what she sees.
