Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin in 'Liar' will undergo lie detector tests.

On the 31st, the production team of MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar' (screenplay by Baek Jae-young, directed by Jo Young-min) released images of Min Jun-ho (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) and Kang Ji-sun (played by Seo Hyun-jin) getting closer to "the truth of that day," drawing attention.

In the first episode aired the previous day, in the premiere of 'Liar,' the two protagonists, Min Jun-ho and Kang Ji-sun, developed feelings for each other and had a "perfect first date." However, their reactions the next day were polar opposites. Kang Ji-sun reported Min Jun-ho to the police on charges of sexual assault, claiming it was forced. Min Jun-ho protested his innocence, insisting that there was absolutely no coercion. One of them is lying. With their claims sharply diverging, viewers are left confused about who the "real liar" is.

In the photos, Min Jun-ho and Kang Ji-sun are being questioned in a police station interrogation room. Their darkened expressions, which make it hard to believe they had a "perfect first date," vividly show their situation. At the same time, the resolve of both individuals, who refuse to budge on their claims, is also evident. In the next photo, Min Jun-ho and Kang Ji-sun are undergoing lie detector tests, further piquing curiosity.

Regarding this, the 'Liar' production team stated, "In Episode 2, Min Jun-ho and Kang Ji-sun will undergo lie detector tests. Since the two are making diametrically opposed claims about a single memory, the lie detector test scene will provide viewers with intense tension. Above all, we ask for your interest and anticipation in the deep, passionate performances of actors Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin, who do not miss even the smallest detail in showing their characters' psychological changes."

Who is the "real liar" that the lie detector will point to between Min Jun-ho and Kang Ji-sun? Episode 2 of 'Liar' airs at 9:50 p.m. on the 31st.
