Seo Hyun-jin learned about suspicions surrounding the death of Yoo Yeon-seok's wife in 'Liar'.

In the episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar' broadcast on the 7th, Kang Ji-sun (played by Seo Hyun-jin) was shown having a conversation with police officer Lee Hwa-young (played by Ok Ja-yeon).

On this day, Kang Ji-sun repeatedly asserted her innocence, stating, "I am not that kind of snake in the grass. I am also not a mentally unstable person suffering from pathological lying. I did not lie."

In response, Lee Hwa-young said, "I do not believe the investigation results are complete," adding, "The reason I asked to meet with you, Ms. Kang Ji-sun, is to warn you about a man named Min Joon-ho," heightening the tension.

Lee Hwa-young then revealed, "Didn't you ask for questions regarding Min Joon-ho's deceased wife to be included in the polygraph examination? In fact, I included those questions."

At the time, when asked, "Did you feel guilt over your wife's death?", Min Joon-ho answered, "I loved her enough to respect even her final choice."

He continued, "Her expression was one of being finally liberated from the pain of life. She looked at peace," calmly recalling how his wife appeared when she passed away.

Lee Hwa-young also explained the circumstances surrounding the time of Min Joon-ho's wife's death. He stated, "At the moment your wife died from respiratory distress caused by an overdose of medication, Min Joon-ho was at home."

He then expressed concern, saying, "If Min Joon-ho is involved in his wife's death, he is truly a dangerous person." Lee Hwa-young urged Kang Ji-sun, "Do not rashly try to stand against him. I would like you to stay as far away from him as possible."

In particular, he added, "This is not something I am saying as a police officer, but as one woman to another."
