Chef Yoon Nam-no, "I Can't Do It Alone," revealed how he started cooking.

Chef Kim Poong and Chef Yoon Nam-no appeared on JTBC's entertainment show "Can't Do It Alone," which aired on the 20th.

Yoon Nam-no said, "It wasn't my dream to be a cook. My parents ran a cold noodle restaurant. My mother was diagnosed with cancer. There was no one to open a naengmyeon restaurant because my sister and brother were married. I rolled it up in three months," he said. "That was when I was in the first year of middle school. Also, when I took charge of the naengmyeon restaurant, it was in November, when no one ate naengmyeon. It went out of business in February of the following year," he confessed.

"Mother, don't you have insurance money that has been diagnosed with cancer. I think it's the last thing I can do, so he asked me if I was going to go to a cooking academy," he said.

When Kim Poong asked, "Did you do that even though your son can't cook cold noodles?" Yoon Nam-no said, "Maybe it was the first time you saw me focus on something. My mother watched it," he said. "It wasn't fun when I first went to the cooking academy, but I was hooked on salt and sugar. It was salty and sweet. When I put this in when I made it, it felt like I was drawing a taste."

Meanwhile, "Can't Be Alone" airs every Tuesday at 10:30 p.m.
