Former Go player Lee Se-dol and professional gamer Faker met with Son Seok-hee.

In MBC's "Son Seok-hee's Questions," which aired on the 8th, Lee Se-dol and Faker expressed their thoughts on humanity confronting AI.

Lee Se-dol lost 4-1 against AI "AlphaGo" for the first time in mankind 10 years ago, and Faker is set to face off by accepting the challenge of the next-generation AI "Grook 5" being developed by Elon Musk.

Son Seok-hee said, "Lee Se-dol confidently (said he would win) before facing AlphaGo," and on March 9, 2016, he delivered a video of AlphaGo's match of the century.

Lee Se-dol, who was confident of winning at the time, lost to AlphaGo up to three countries and won a dramatic victory in four countries. Recalling the time, Lee Se-dol said, "The second country was more embarrassing than the first. As the first country played with AI for the first time, it failed to display its skills. I did my best in the second round, but I was pushed back without trying my best," he said.

Regarding the time when he had a "God's move" in the 78th move, he said, "I thought, 'There is no way to win in the three countries,' and these were not normal methods in the four countries. The 78th number was a predetermined trend. In fact, 68 moves were a winning move, and it was a trick that was not the best move. He explained, "It's not the best, it's a safe move."

Lee Se-dol said, "I thought it would be difficult to win in a normal way, so I set a strategy to induce bugs. I've been a professional for 24 years and more than 30 years, but it was the first time I chose a trick rather than an integer," he confessed.

When Son Seok-hee asked, "Why didn't you put it that way in the fifth country?" he said, "Even if I won at that time, I would have won two games and lost three games, but I played in the match in a regular manner."
