Singer Lee Seung-ki spoke about the birth of his second child.

The episode of KBS 2TV's variety program 'Immortal Songs' aired on the 6th was titled 'Immortal Songs - Composer Kim Do-hoon Part 2', featuring reinterpretations of Kim Do-hoon's classic songs.

Last week, Lee Seung-ki won the 'Kim Do-hoon Part 1' segment. He shared his thoughts, saying, "Since my debut, I can count on one hand the number of times I've performed on stage with such tension. My hands are numb. I was intimidated in front of the original artist. I'm glad."

MC Lee Chan-won said, "It seems like a big gift for your second child who is about to be born," to which Lee Seung-ki honestly replied, "The King of Kings tournament is too burdensome."

The MCs asked about the timing of the second child's birth. Lee Seung-ki responded, "It's scheduled for July. Then I might not be able to participate in the King of Kings. How could I leave my wife who is giving birth?" His answer drew laughter.

MC Kim Jun-hyun said, "Our (King of Kings) tournament is also around July or August," and Lee Chan-won added, "The production team rushed to the waiting room right after filming ended because they were worried Lee Seung-ki wouldn't participate in the King of Kings after winning."

Meanwhile, Lee Seung-ki married actress Da-in in April 2023. They welcomed their first daughter in February 2024, and in February of this year, they announced the news of the second pregnancy.
