Actor Hong Jimin spoke about her second sister who has passed away.

On the 18th, Hong Jimin and her family appeared on MBN's "Sokpuri Show Dongchimi."

That day, Hong Jimin revealed the reason behind her family trips. She said, "Ever since my younger (second) sister passed away, we've continued planning family trips. Because someday it will be our last one." She struggled to speak coherently and broke down in tears.

Hong Jimin explained, "My second sister was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and passed away just two months later," adding, "She was the prettiest of our three sisters."

Hong Jimin's eldest sister shared, "(Before my second sister's death) I fought a lot with Mom. At that time, living together itself was difficult. Coincidentally, I received an assignment to the U.S., so I moved there. I had even applied for permanent residency thinking I'd never return." She continued, "But suddenly, my second sister developed cancer and passed away within 49 days."

She added, "My second sister thought very highly of Mom. (As she was leaving this world) she told her, 'Don't worry. Mom will take full responsibility until the end, so go peacefully.'"
