Lee Seung-gi, now a father, delivered an emotional performance of the song "Father" with unique feelings.

On the 19th episode of KBS 2TV's "Immortal Songs: New Wave Festival in Ulsan Part 2," Lee Seung-gi returned to the stage for the second part finale after performing in the first part.

He performed "Father" alongside Mad Clown, expressing gratitude to his partner by saying, "Mad Clown joined me because he was worried my rap might become a regretful moment."

"Father" is a track from Lee Seung-gi's debut album. He shared, "Psy-hyung gave me this song when I was in high school and performed the rap part himself. Now, it is loved even more as Psy-hyung's song. While practicing, I was moved to tears by how touching the lyrics were back then."

That day, Lee Seung-gi closed the show with "Smile Boy" and "Let's Go on a Trip" following his performance of "Father."

Meanwhile, Lee Seung-gi has been engaged in intense legal disputes over unpaid royalties from his former agency Hook Entertainment since his debut. He is also currently in conflict with Big Planet Made Entertainment over settlement issues.

In 2023, he married Lee Da-in and welcomed their first daughter after ten months of marriage. In July last year, he embraced his second son three years into his marriage.
