Netflix's variety show "Big Bang Gikanjang Season 2" opened its box office by reaching the top of the Korean chart within two days of release and entering the Top 10 in five Asian countries.

Released on the 22nd with episodes 1 through 4, "Big Bang Gikanjang Season 2" climbed to No. 1 on Netflix's "Today's Top 10 Series in South Korea" as of the 24th. Overseas reactions have also been hot. The show entered the Top 10 in five major Asian countries: Singapore (No. 2), Hong Kong and Taiwan (No. 6), Malaysia (No. 7), and Indonesia (No. 9), quickly capturing the hearts of viewers across Asia beyond just Korea.

This second season captivates audiences with the even more extraordinary scale of its second location compared to the first, along with the unique chemistry of new staff members. From a 5-meter super-large front door that must be opened by two people, to a three-story bunk bed inside a refrigerator that requires climbing, to an absurd lighting system where volleyball players must throw balls to extinguish lights, a flood of "inconvenient yet funny" chaotic situations unfolds within the massive scale. Alongside this, the cheerful banter between rookie staff members Kim Yeon-koung, Lee Jun-ho, and Kazuha, led by "experienced owner" Gikan84, as well as warm interactions with guests from diverse backgrounds, further heighten immersion.

Having kicked off its box office success both domestically and internationally, "Big Bang Gikanjang Season 2" will continue delivering even stronger laughs with the release of episodes 5 through 8 on Tuesday the 29th. In the second week, viewers can expect episodes featuring endless snow removal work and intense snowball fights at Daegwallyeong under heavy snowfall, as well as Kazuha's emotional story that brought her to tears — all set against a backdrop of winter romance and hardship, generating high anticipation.

Episodes 5 through 8 of "Big Bang Gikanjang Season 2" will be released worldwide via Netflix on the 29th.
