Choo Sung-hoon and Kim Jong-kook directly felt the popularity they gained in Taiwan, which stemmed from their previous trip to Kyushu.

In the episode of the SBS Plus·MBN variety show "The Travel Method of a Real Man in Taiwan" broadcast on the 6th, Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Zico were shown arriving in Taiwan and beginning their full-fledged journey.

The connection between "The Travel Method of a Real Man" and Taiwan began with the previous Kyushu episode. At that time, "The Travel Method of a Real Man in Kyushu," featuring Choo Sung-hoon and Kim Jong-kook among others, gained popularity on the Taiwanese OTT platform Friday, reaching the top of the variety category.

This local popularity became the catalyst for deciding on Taiwan as the new travel destination. PD Kim Jin-ho had previously stated that, given the show's significant reception in Taiwan, he wanted to visit the country directly this time to showcase its hidden charms.

Indeed, upon arriving in Taiwan, Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Zico were met with a local reaction even more enthusiastic than expected. As the three entered the Friday building, employees gathered together to welcome them with cheers, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) personally appeared as well.

Special gifts had also been prepared. The three received traditional Taiwanese gongmiao vests engraved with nicknames reflecting their individual characteristics. Kim Jong-kook was given the nickname "Protein Monster," while Choo Sung-hoon received a moniker signifying his global affectionate name, "Sexy Yama."

In essence, the program that traveled to Kyushu, Japan, in the previous season gained unexpected popularity in Taiwan, and this connection led to a new trip to Taiwan. Choo Sung-hoon and Kim Jong-kook only truly felt the intense reaction toward them after visiting the location in person.

Zico, who newly joined the group, also received an unexpected opportunity. During his meeting with local executives, Zico was proposed the idea of performing in Taiwan together with BOYNEXTDOOR, a group he produced, leading to natural business discussions during the trip.

Meanwhile, "The Travel Method of a Real Man in Taiwan" follows Choo Sung-hoon and Kim Jong-kook reuniting after the Kyushu episode, along with Zico joining as the new youngest member, as they travel through various parts of Taiwan.
