In "Doctor X," Kim Ji-won delivered a pointed critique at the materialistic doctors.

In the first episode of SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Doctor X," which aired on the 9th, Gye Su-jung (played by Kim Ji-won) was urgently deployed to Guseo University Hospital to fill the gap left by a medical strike.

However, she confronted those in power from her very first day. Attending a reference meeting for Kim Myeong-seop (Director)'s gallbladder cancer patient, Gye Su-jung pointed out, "Why are you performing an open surgery? It seems you're excited to get a call after a long time. If the call is shallow, then what?"

She continued, unable to hold back her harsh words: "If the people in white coats here have medical licenses, it would be appropriate to use a laparoscopic surgeon. I know you dislike shallow terms, so this phrasing is correct. Your greed for more is excessive."

To the doctors who did not stop the director's surgery, she delivered a sharp remark: "This is why I hate you guys. I hate you. People who only studied to earn money and rise in status."

In particular, she said coldly, "You bow down before professors but act recklessly in front of patients. You irresponsible people who entrust surgeries to the elderly. You complacent people who think about how to just get away with it. People who are merely doctors. Hey, you guys are really pathetic," leaving her fellow doctors in shock.
