Actor Lee Gye-in and singers Kim Yeon-ja and Hyun-sook shared various stories, ranging from their special connection with Kim Shin-young to heartwarming family histories.

On the episode of the JTBC variety show "Knowing Bros" broadcast on the 17th, Lee Gye-in, Kim Yeon-ja, and Hyun-sook appeared as guests for a "Kim Shin-young Family Special."

On this day, Lee Gye-in candidly shared his feelings about Kim Shin-young's weight loss. He revealed that when Kim Shin-young lost weight, she did not seem like his daughter anymore, expressing disappointment at her changed appearance.

Lee Gye-in and Kim Shin-young became close, like a father and daughter, after Lee Gye-in imitated the voice of Mo Pal-mo in the past drama "Jumong." Lee Gye-in stated that although he does not usually use Mo Pal-mo's speech pattern, he naturally gets immersed in the character whenever he meets Kim Shin-young.

In response, Kim Shin-young revealed that Lee Gye-in actually asks her how to perform the Mo Pal-mo imitation, and she demonstrated the voice mimicry. Lee Gye-in shared an anecdote about serving as a wedding officiant using Mo Pal-mo's speech pattern, eliciting laughter.

Following this, Kim Yeon-ja shared anecdotes from her 20-year career in Japan. She stated that she had thought people in Korea would not know her well due to her long overseas activities, but was surprised to find that many people knew her hit song "Mercury Lamp," contrary to her expectations.

In particular, Kim Yeon-ja expressed gratitude, noting that Kim Shin-young's voice mimicry played a significant role in popularizing "Mercury Lamp."

Kim Yeon-ja also revealed the story behind a song monument erected in her hometown to commemorate her representative track "Amor Party." She expressed unique feelings about the fact that the song monument she had long dreamed of as a singer was actually built.

Hyun-sook also shared the story behind a filial piety monument erected in her hometown to honor her devotion. She recalled that in the past, she would bring her parents, who were in poor health, with her every time she performed on stage. She revealed that when a filial piety monument was erected for her while she was still alive, she felt a great burden and lost 8 kg in weight at the time.

In particular, Hyun-sook shared a touching story related to the 38th million won left behind by her late mother.

Hyun-sook revealed that after her mother passed away, she found 38 million won in cash under a blanket. The money was what her mother had saved without spending the pocket money she received from her daughter during her lifetime.

Hyun-sook stated that she added her own funds to the 38th million won left by her mother and donated a total of 100 million won. The donation was used to support surgeries for 38 children with leukemia, and Hyun-sook's story moved audiences deeply.
