Go player Lee Sedol was shocked by the lively party atmosphere at the Han River swimming pool.

In an episode of the KBS 2TV variety show 'Bachelor Lee Sedol' broadcast on the 30th, Lee Sedol was shown taking on the task of cleaning the Yeouido Han River swimming pool.

On this day, Lee Sedol dressed in a suit for his third job experience and visited the Yeouido Han River swimming pool. After being assigned to clean up following the pool's closing time, Lee Sedol was instructed that he could spend his time freely until 10 p.m.

However, Lee Sedol could not hide his flustered expression as soon as he entered the pool area. He confessed, "It is an incredibly awkward space. I have never been to a swimming pool when it is crowded, whether indoors or outdoors. This is my first time at an outdoor one."

He then looked down at himself in his suit and said, "This is an incredibly awkward place for a suit," eliciting laughter.

In particular, Lee Sedol was left speechless upon discovering that a DJ party was in full swing at the pool. Seeing countless people enjoying the party to the music, he expressed his surprise, saying, "This isn't even half people and half water. The people are the main act, and the water is just a supporting role."

While the atmosphere at the swimming pool grew increasingly heated, Lee Sedol's expression gradually hardened. He watched the party scene from a distance before eventually turning his back and leaving.

When the production team asked if he did not want to swim, Lee Sedol was flustered, asking, "Swim? Go in there?" He also firmly answered a question about whether it would have been possible 20 years ago by saying, "No. Going in there is a little bit harder than working."

Amidst this, when the song 'Roly Poly' by the group T-ARA played, Lee Sedol showed a pleased expression. He drew attention by revealing, "I am actually a fan of T-ARA."

However, despite the familiar song, Lee Sedol struggled to adapt to the party atmosphere. Ultimately, he shared his feelings about the unfamiliar swimming pool, saying, "It really felt like I was an outsider."

Meanwhile, 'Bachelor Lee Sedol' is a variety show that documents Lee Sedol's challenges in various professions after leaving the Go world following his one victory against the artificial intelligence AlphaGo in 2016.
