Minami, a member of the group Rescene, received high praise from broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk for her fluent Korean.

On the episode of MBC's variety show "What Are You Doing While Idle?" broadcast on the 7th, the identities of the 18th qualifiers for the "95 Seoul Song Festival" were revealed.

That day, Rescene's Minami performed on stage with comedians Yoo Young-woo and Gwak Beom, selecting the song "I Don't Stop."

After finishing her performance, Minami revealed that she had also informed her Rescene members about her appearance on "What Are You Doing While Idle?" She said, "I told my members that I was going to appear. I also shared in our group chat the reactions shown by the senior members after listening to my song."

She then explained the preparation process for the stage, saying, "While watching the choreography, I thought about how to make the movements bigger, and we all practiced hard together."

In particular, Minami's exceptional Korean language skills became a topic of conversation. As Minami continued speaking naturally, Yoo Jae-suk said, "Minami doesn't just joke around; she speaks better than Kyung-hwan," eliciting laughter.

Yoo Jae-suk then added, "Even among the friends around me who are in broadcasting, Minami really speaks well," marveling at her outstanding language proficiency and quick wit.

In response, Heo Kyung-hwan asked Minami, "Please tell us how to speak Korean well," adding to the laughter.

Minami replied, "I think you must not be afraid," sharing her own secret to improving her Korean skills.
