'Lee Min-ho of 'Assassin(s)' revealed his focus on the character.

On the 8th, a press screening for the movie 'Assassin(s)' was held at Megabox COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Director Heo Jin-ho and actors Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho attended the event.

'Assassin(s)' is a story tracing the suspicions and masterminds behind the assassination of the First Lady that shocked South Korea on August 15, 1974.

It densely depicts the grand mystery of the First Lady's assassination incident that rocked South Korea in 1974, reimagined through cinematic imagination.

Lee Min-ho plays 'Young-il,' a passionate rookie reporter who directly runs around the scene and captures events on camera.

Lee Min-ho said, "I often think we live in an era where sensational content or titles are considered more important than truth itself," adding, "In times when it is difficult to distinguish what is true and what is false, I placed the greatest importance on the convictions of those who pursued truth in an era they did not personally experience."

Regarding how he expressed the character, he revealed, "I had many discussions with the director about wanting a 'character like a live fish.'"

He explained, "On set, I continued to discuss with the director about finding routes where I could use my body as much as possible and run around directly. I thought hard about how to bring out the unique passion and energy of a rookie reporter on screen."
