Director Park Su-won expressed strong confidence in 'Charge Me Up' leads Kim Young-kwang and Chae Soobin.

The production press conference for the Netflix series 'Charge Me Up' was held at a hotel in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 1st. Director Park Su-won and actors Kim Young-kwang and Chae Soobin attended the event.

'Charge Me Up' is a romantic comedy about a man whose artificial heart battery has run out and a woman with electrical abilities.

Based on the web novel of the same name, 'Charge Me Up' brings together Director Park Su-won, who was loved for his witty direction in works such as 'Drunk Women 2' and 'Postpartum Center,' and newcomer writer Song Yu-chae.

Speaking about Kim Young-kwang, Director Park Su-won said, "He possesses all the qualities required of a male actor in a romantic comedy." He added, "His physique is excellent, giving him a visual that looks like he stepped out of a comic book. While he appears chic on the outside, he is actually quite playful."

The director continued, "He can be sharp-tongued with others but acts like an affectionate large dog toward his woman. He has all the elements that female viewers would love, yet it seems only he himself doesn't realize it." He expressed his affection by adding, "Including those aspects, he is a complete package. I hope many people will come to appreciate how well he performed and how handsome he is once the work is released soon."

Regarding Chae Soobin, he shared, "She was truly adorable. After filming just one scene, the male staff members kept saying 'she's so cute' with every take."

Director Park stated, "Of course, she is an incredibly talented and intelligent actress, but in a romantic comedy, if the female lead is cute and lovable, that alone becomes a great strength." He expressed his satisfaction by adding, "I felt truly blessed to be working with these two actors."
