Singer and actor Shuho will demonstrate his enriched acting skills through the film "Father's Secret."

In "Father's Secret," a film selected for the Cannes Film Festival Residency (Cinéfondation) program and awarded the Busan International Film Festival APM Busan Award, which earned early recognition for its artistic merit based solely on the screenplay, Shuho takes on the role of the son, "Tae-sung," driving the narrative forward.

"Father's Secret," in which Shuho appears, is an action drama depicting the story of a young man named "Tae-sung," who had been living an ordinary life, becoming entangled in unexpected events after confronting a secret his father (played by Park Hee-soon) had kept hidden, and discovering the truth surrounding his family in the process.

In the film, "Tae-sung," played by Shuho, is a young man who wavered between his dream of becoming a musician and the realistic conflict of returning to school after completing his military service. The character's growth, gradually becoming more resilient as he overcomes the trials that befall him, is depicted in a three-dimensional manner, expected to deliver both a profound emotional resonance and an intense sense of immersion to audiences.

Given that Shuho has proven his deep acting skills and sincerity across various mediums, including dramas, musicals, and films, public attention is expected to focus on the rich emotional depth and raw acting chemistry he will bring in "Father's Secret."

"Father's Secret," starring Shuho, is written and directed by Director Yoon Jae-ho, who has been recognized for his unique directing skills through films such as "Madame B" and "Beautiful Days." The film is expected to spectacularly weave the secrets, conflicts, and choices of characters confronting the truth, centered on a father and son, within the tension of the action genre.

"Father's Secret," having completed production preparations including casting, will begin filming in November this year and is scheduled for release next year.
