Mark's first feelings were conveyed to fans after leaving the group NCT.

Mark said on the fan communication platform Bubble on the 6th, "I really wanted to say it myself first, but it wasn't a part where I could just move with my own emotions."

"Are you very surprised?" he said. "The weekend must have been so hectic and difficult, but it's already Monday again. I have to cheer up," he said, soothing his fans.

He said, "I'll be back soon." I'm sorry and thank you. Let's cheer up together on Monday," he added.

On the 3rd, SM Entertainment, the agency, said it would conclude its exclusive contract with Mark and end all of Mark's group activities.

Since then, Mark said on his SNS, "It's time to end a 10-year contract, so I woke up all my senses in my mind and thought for a long time, and eventually I was curious about what the exact completion of the dream would look like and I wanted to dive properly. I think I really wanted to find out what my music or fruit would be and how I could achieve it in the world," he said, explaining the reason for his withdrawal from the team.

Meanwhile, Mark made his debut as an NTC member in 2016 and was active. In 2019, he also worked as a member of the group SuperM.

With Mark's withdrawal, NCT 127 has been reorganized into Johnny, Taeyong, Utah, DOYOUNG, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan, and NCT Dream has been reorganized into Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung six members.
