However, we were certain that we must keep pushing forward," and added, "We are also grateful to Chairman Bang Si-hyeok."

RM also stated, "ARMY made this possible once again. We are honored to receive this precious award once more after all members have completed their military service. We are grateful to ARMY around the world who have been with us for the past 13 years."

BTS's direct participation in the 'AMA' comes about five years after 2021. At this 'AMA,' BTS aimed for their second grand prize win overall, following their 2021 victory. The nominations for this year were selected based on Billboard and Luminate data from March 21, 2025, to March 26, 2026,ly considering key fan activity indicators such as streaming, album and digital song sales, radio airplay, and tour revenue.

BTS has previously won a total of 12 trophies at the 'AMA' as both a group and solo artists.
