ZEROBASEONE member Park Geon-wook bowed his head amid a controversy over a staged incident.

On the 5th, Park Geon-wook posted a lengthy message on a fan communication platform, saying, "I am posting this message to sincerely apologize for my recent behavior at a fan signing event."

That day, Park Geon-wook stated, "I should have judged and acted more carefully at the scene at that time, but I did not. I take seriously the fact that I caused confusion and hurt to many people. I sincerely apologize to those who were confused and hurt due to my shortcomings."

He continued, "Although I have always cherished the hearts sent by fans, I am sorry that I could not show a side worthy of their feelings. I will not take this matter lightly and will sincerely reflect on it." He then added, "I am sorry to have disappointed Zeros once again, who supported and believed in us during this album promotion. I also want to express my apologies to our ZEROBASEONE members and the staff who have worked hard alongside us."

The reason Park Geon-wook uploaded this apology statement is that he attempted to manipulate a Polaroid giveaway event at a recently held fan signing. At that time, Park was caught on camera revealing a winning number that was not the one he had drawn, angering fans present at the scene.
