Group NCT member Taeyong has become a topic of discussion after it was revealed that he has been providing support for 11 consecutive years.

On the 9th, Seoul's Da-Ae Multicultural School announced that Taeyong deposited a donation of 30 million won on the 4th to support multicultural students who had recently arrived in the country, and visited the school on the 29th to encourage the students.

According to Da-Ae Multicultural School, Taeyong began his support for multicultural students in 2016 and is now in his 11th year. It has been reported that the total amount of donations he has provided over the past 11 years has far exceeded 100 million won.

Taeyong's efforts have become a great source of strength for multicultural students who arrived in South Korea from other countries, where they faced loneliness and hardship due to unfamiliar languages and cultures. The scholarships Taeyong provides have made a significant impact on their lives.

As a result, many students have been admitted to institutions such as Kyung Hee University, University of Seoul, Sungkyunkwan University, Chung-Ang University, Korea National University of Arts, and Sogang University, or have successfully secured employment as hair designers, Lisa (a hairstylist), and in other fields. These individuals later return to Da-Ae Multicultural School to conduct volunteer activities such as native language mentoring and tutoring for junior students, fostering a virtuous cycle of giving.

Lee Hee-yong, principal of Da-Ae Multicultural School, said, "We are grateful that Taeyong has been with multicultural students for 11 years, providing continuous support and showing interest." He added, "Thanks to Taeyong's warm heart, multicultural students are receiving diverse education and growing into healthy citizens of South Korea."
