Singer Kwon Jin-ah identified body obsession as the starting point of her self-loathing message.

On the 15th at 3 p.m., Kwon Jin-ah held a comeback album showcase at the Dongyang Life Hall, NOL Theater in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Later that afternoon at 6 p.m., she will release her third EP 'SAVE ME' through major online music platforms.

Speaking at the event, Kwon Jin-ah said, "Because I disliked my appearance and body shape, I dieted to change them. I suffered from both anorexia and bulimia due to body obsession, and I expressed this in the music video." She added, "I couldn't even be free about loving a beautiful body shape, so I wanted to convey a message on this topic."

'SAVE ME' is an album that draws attention through Kwon Jin-ah's genre transformation. Her first foray into rock music itself delivered a fresh shock to music fans, following her long-standing reputation for moving audiences with her emotive voice and delicate sensibility. Through the first-ever full-album rock-based production in her career, Kwon Jin-ah translated themes of trauma and self-loathing into rock sound.

The title track 'MONSTER' is a rock number that delivers an encouraging message to shake off the self-loathing rooted in one's heart and save oneself. With an overwhelming group-singing section reminiscent of midsummer festival stages, it conveys a thrilling sense of liberation to listeners.

'SAVE ME' includes five tracks: 'WHO CAN CHANGE', which was used as background music for the trailer; 'MONSTER'; 'Rain on me', which was pre-released on June 23 and received a hot response; '87days'; and 'Don't Save Me'. The album showcases Kwon Jin-ah's expanded musical spectrum.

Marking this album release, Kwon Jin-ah plans to take the stage at the '2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival with KB Kookmin Card', where she will deliver an overwhelming live sound performance.
