To commemorate the fourth anniversary of their debut, the group NewJeans released a four-member group photo and video.

On the 22nd, NewJeans posted several photos and videos on its official SNS along with the message "2026 Summer of NewJeans."

The released photos and videos featured members Minji, Hani, Haerin, and Hyein amidst summer scenery. Notably, the four members appeared in sequence, holding hands one after another, drawing attention.

This content marks the first group release by NewJeans after they decided to return to ADOR following a lawsuit seeking confirmation of their exclusive contract's validity.

Previously, in November 2024, all five members of NewJeans declared the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR, citing breach of contract, and began individual activities. However, they lost the first-instance lawsuit regarding the validity of their exclusive contract in October last year, and the members subsequently announced their intention to return to ADOR without filing an appeal.

However, in December of the same year, ADOR notified Daniel that his exclusive contract had been terminated, stating he could no longer continue as a member of NewJeans. Following this, the returns of Haerin, Hyein, and Hani were confirmed, while Minji was reported to be negotiating specific conditions for her return. Speculation now arises that she has ultimately decided to rejoin the group.

As a result, attention is focused on whether NewJeans will officially begin activities as a four-member unit and what steps they will take moving forward.
