Kai, a model from Taiwan who appeared in the music video for BLACKPINK's Jennie's new song, has revealed his voice.

Fashion magazine Dazed Korea posted on its official account on the 21st: "Kai met at the Dazed shoot site. The very same model featured in Jennie's teaser is recommending a summer vacation spot—now revealed," along with a video.

The video showed Kai getting makeup done for the shoot. Wearing a sleeveless top, he displayed his tall stature, sharp facial features, and the aura of a professional model.

When asked to recommend a summer vacation spot, Kai smiled and said "Xiaoliuqiu." Xiaoliuqiu is located off the coast of Pingtung County in southern Taiwan.

He added, "Since Xiaoliuqiu is a small island, it's perfect for a three-day getaway," and noted, "There are plenty of delicious foods, and the sea is clean."

At the end of the interview, he greeted in Korean: "Thank you. Goodbye."

Global netizens expressed strong interest with comments such as "JENNIE'S WHATTT?!", "Jennie's guy," and "We hope he becomes a huge star internationally!"

On the 18th, Jennie posted a couple photo with an unidentified man on her social media without any explanation. It was later revealed that this man is Kai, the model who appeared in Jennie's new single "Less than a Lover" music video.

"Less than a Lover" will be released at 1 p.m. on the 24th.
