Seungri (real name Lee Seung-hyun) from the group BIGBANG was spotted in Vietnam.

On the 21st, Vietnamese media Schannel released a video on its official SNS showing Seungri visiting an event venue in Hanoi.

In the video, Seungri stepped out of a car wearing a beige casual suit and moved toward the event venue under an umbrella held by his bodyguard to avoid the rain. He was seen taking selfie photos with attendees and also moving busily while watching a performance.

Seungri was also spotted in another hotel lobby, dressed in athletic wear with shorts, a short-sleeved shirt, a bucket hat, and sneakers.

Seungri still walked with confident strides but appeared noticeably heavier compared to the past.

The place Seungri visited on the 20th was the Ho Guom Opera House, a landmark in Hanoi, Vietnam. He attended the opening event of 'AY-VY Hanoi' held there unofficially.

Seungri is a central figure in the 'Burning Sun Gate' scandal that erupted in 2019, and the following year he was expelled not only from the popular group BIGBANG but also from the entertainment industry.

He was found guilty of all nine charges: habitual gambling, prostitution, procuring prostitution, violation of the Special Act on Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes, violation of the Foreign Exchange Transaction Act, violation of the Food Sanitation Act, embezzlement in the course of duty, and violation of the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement), as well as suspicion of aggravated assault. The Supreme Court sentenced Seungri to one year and six months in prison in 2022. Although he was released from Yeoju Detention Center after serving his sentence in February 2023, he continued to face public backlash as images surfaced showing him enjoying nightlife at nightclubs both domestically and abroad under the nickname 'Seungzby'.
