The band HYUKOH will release their new single, "Jineun Nal." It is the third new track they are unveiling in just two months, following "Godspeed!" and "KoK," which were released last August after a six-year hiatus.

HYUKOH's new single, "Jigeun Nal," will be available for listening on all music streaming sites starting at 6 p.m. on the 7th.

"Jineun Nal" is a song that expresses the sense of frustration and detachment felt within a harsh day where a cherished relationship falls apart and things do not go as planned, no matter how hard one tries. It interprets the sentiment inherent in a "losing day"—a day when one loses at everything—through HYUKOH's unique perspective.

In particular, the self-deprecating lyrics contrast with the upbeat melody, maximizing the song's paradoxical appeal and delivering HYUKOH's sincere message about human relationships with deeper and more intense resonance. Additionally, "Jineun Nal" holds special significance as it is the first track with a Hangul title since "Haneulnara," included on the album "24 : How to find true love and happiness," released in 2018.

The cover artwork was produced through a collaboration with artist An Min-jung, following her work on "Godspeed!" and "KoK." It adapts an anatomical diagram of tear pathways depicting the human body, organically mapping betrayal and trauma. This was meticulously realized through the artist's unique visual language, which evokes technical drawings. The placement of human anatomy diagrams, the track structure of instruments, and playful rock-paper-scissors signs among friends enhances both the visual completeness and the density of the message the song aims to convey.

HYUKOH has perfectly reinterpreted the emotional narrative leading from helplessness and loneliness to frustration through each song, using their distinctive original language. As HYUKOH marks its 12th anniversary of debut this year, the three singles released in succession after a six-year gap are further heightening fans' anticipation for a full album release.

In line with the new single's release, HYUKOH has prepared special linked events to connect more closely with fans. On the 9th, two days after the release of "Jineun Nal," they will hold a flea market titled "losing day with friends" at D&D Department in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. HYUKOH members will participate directly in various aspects to interact closely with fans. The flea market will also feature a diverse lineup of sellers, including the members' long-time fellow artists, vintage shops, and cafes, promising a rich experience where both fans and the general public can enjoy everything from personal collections reflecting the artist's taste to unique content.

Meanwhile, on October 11, a special concert titled "LIVE FROM YEONNAM : HYUKOH," held with Marshall, will take place at Channel 1969 in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The concert is significant as it is a small-scale performance for 150 seats, which HYUKOH has not offered in a long time since their debut. It is expected to be a meaningful occasion where only HYUKOH and the audience interact with high density at the closest possible distance, in a space that breaks down the boundary between the stage and the seating area, moving beyond large stages.
