Praise from foreign media continues for the first mini album, "DREAMSCAPE," by SEVENTEEN unit Jeonghan X Joshua.

On the 19th (local time), U.S. entertainment outlet Variety published an article titled "SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan X Joshua Find Their Own Duo Sound in 'DREAMSCAPE,'" introducing the duo's creative process.

Variety noted, "Jeonghan and Joshua released a duet song, 'Falling For U,' in 2018, but this is their first unit album consisting solely of themselves," while sharing behind-the-scenes details about the production. According to the outlet, there were three or four additional tracks considered as title song candidates, among which "12 o'clock," positioned between house and band sounds, was ultimately selected. The members told the media, "It is a meaningful album that allowed us to broaden our musical spectrum by exploring various genres."

Vogue Singapore defined "DREAMSCAPE" as "a world of fantastic sound realized by Jeonghan X Joshua," praising it by stating, "Their charm truly shines in '12 o'clock.' Refined sounds and rhythms utilizing off-beats blend with intensely captivating vocals."

ELLE Singapore also stated, "This unit serves as a platform to showcase the musical talent and chemistry of Jeonghan and Joshua," adding, "'DREAMSCAPE' evokes a fresher and more dreamy atmosphere compared to other unit projects." Meanwhile, Bandwagon Asia highlighted the diverse genres of the new release, noting, "They navigate across house, rock, R&B, and more, delivering an even deeper voice."

The article notes that "DREAMSCAPE" sold over 650,000 copies on its release day. It also claimed the No. 1 spot for two consecutive days on the daily chart (dated October 20) of album sales tracking site Hanteo Chart. The album entered at No. 6 on the "Worldwide iTunes Albums" chart, maintaining a top-tier position.
