"A Group That Brings Miracles to Mind Again": Rescene Proves Its Growth with 'PULSE' Through Steady Progress, Not a Comeback [Comprehensive]

Girl group Rescene (RESCENE) is embarking on another leap forward. Having built their presence through the chart resurgence of "LOVE ATTACK" and a first-place finish on music shows, they are taking steps toward becoming a national girl group, surpassing the label of "miracle of mid-tier idols," by leading with even more solidified music and performance.

Rescene (Woni, Liv, Minami, May, Jenna) held a showcase to commemorate the release of their fourth mini album "PULSE" on the 3rd in the afternoon at Our Won Bank Hall, Blue Square, in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

On this day, Woni expressed her anticipation, saying, "We have finally made our comeback." Following this, Liv stated, "Thanks to the great love you showed during our previous activities, four months passed quickly. We prepared with one heart and one mind to live up to your expectations. Please look forward to a stronger and more grown Rescene."

Minami said, "We prepared with a pleasant sense of tension commensurate with the interest shown in us. Through this activity, we will show you Rescene's new image and our growth. We ask for your warm gaze."

"PULSE" is an album that captures the moment when a song offered to you returns as a voice that lifts me back up. It sings of discovering a part of myself I had not yet known within your belief, and of my desire to become a source of courage for your future as well.

Woni introduced the album by saying it is "a declaration that Rescene's heart has begun to beat powerfully." Additionally, Minami shared, "We have infused a scent into the album; it is a musk fragrance. It is a scent resembling the body heat we share. Because it is a subtle scent that lingers for a long time, we poured in our sincere wish for it to stay with you for a long while."

This album includes a total of five tracks: the title song "With," "Finest Thing," "Inside Out," "MEME," and "Dragon."

The title track "With" is notable for its progression from a lyrical introduction to a powerfully bursting chorus. It captures the moment of running after the voice that calls me, embracing you and the moments I have long dreamed of.

The spectacular performance of the title track also drew attention. Jenna hinted, "I wanted to show our teamwork. There are many performances where we move as if we were one body. Please take a close look at the synergy shown when we come together as one."

Rescene has shown a strong upward trend, including first-place finishes on music shows, after standing out on music charts starting with the chart resurgence of their song "LOVE ATTACK," released in 2024. In July last year, they continued the momentum by releasing a remake of Kara's hit song "Pretty Girl." As a result, they were also evaluated as a "miracle of mid-tier idols."

Woni stated, "A miracle is not easy to achieve, right? We want to become a group that brings the word 'miracle' to mind again," adding, "It seems that the fans who stayed by our side until the end have been our driving force. Many people had high expectations for this album. I want to show you Rescene's new image in terms of performance and music. I hope the descriptor 'trustworthy to listen to' becomes firmly established."

Jenna said, "It seems that this kind of attention came to us as a good burden. I think we practiced hard using it as our driving force." Then, Woni added, "I am still shy about being popular, but it seems you have loved our cheerful and bright image a lot. It seems you have loved the various colors of our image."

Rescene plans to solidify the descriptor "national girl group," surpassing the label of "miracle of mid-tier idols," through this comeback. May shared, "We are striving to become a girl group worthy of such titles. It seems we received so much love that it was attached to us, and we are grateful for your beautiful and loving support."

Minami expressed her wish by saying, "While results are important, I believe that imprinting our scent on you is our growth and success. We hope you will watch our growing image fondly."
