K League 2 soccer club Suwon Samsung has fully signed goalkeeper Kim Jun-hong (23), who was previously on loan.

Suwon announced on the 4th, "Kim Jun-hong, who was previously with DC United of Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States, will continue to be part of Suwon through this full transfer."

Through the club, Kim Jun-hong expressed his feelings, saying, "From the moment I joined on loan, I felt the love and support of the club and fans with all my heart. Now that I am fully part of Suwon Samsung, I am truly happy and grateful."

He added, "I will take on greater responsibility and do my best in every match to achieve the team's goals that the fans desire."

Kim Jun-hong, who debuted in the pros with Jeonbuk in 2021 after passing through Incheon United and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors Youth, completed his military service early at Kim Cheon (SVP) and then transferred to DC United in the United States to advance overseas.

Afterward, Kim Jun-hong received a love call from Suwon under new manager Lee Jung-hyo and returned to the K League on loan, and within half a year of the transfer, he shed the loan label and fully transferred to Suwon.

In this season's K League 2, Kim Jun-hong has appeared in 12 matches, allowing only 11 goals and maintaining a sub-1.0 goals-against average. He has kept clean sheets in half of the matches he played.
