Ulsan HD midfielder Lee Dong-kyung was selected as the player who produced the best assist scene in the K League for September of the 2026 season.

The Korea Professional Football League announced on the 15th that Lee Dong-kyung was chosen as the recipient of the "FedEx Delivery of the Month" award for September of the 2026 season, sponsored by FedEx.

The September candidates included six players who competed: K League 1's Wanderson (Pohang Steelers), Lee Dong-kyung, and Lee Myeong-jae (Daejeon Hana Citizen), as well as K League 2's Baek Seong-dong (Chungbuk Cheongju FC), Ilyuchenko (Hwaseong FC), and Lim Ji-min (Ansan Greeners).

According to the results of a fan vote conducted on the official K League application "Kick" over four days from the 8th to the 11th, Lee Dong-kyung secured the honor with a total of 2,393 votes.

In last week's Round 28 home match against FC Seoul, Lee Dong-kyung delivered a precise left-footed cross toward the goal area in the 38th minute of the second half, which Shim Sang-min converted into a header for the winning goal. With this assist, Ulsan defeated Seoul 1-0.

Lee Dong-kyung will receive a trophy along with a prize money of 1 million won.

According to the league, the "FedEx Delivery of the Month" award is presented monthly by first narrowing down the candidates to the "Best 3" assists from each of K League 1 and K League 2 based on accuracy and sharpness, and then determining the final winner through a fan vote. The award embodies FedEx's value of fast and accurate delivery services through the precision and speed of decisive assists that create goals during matches.
