GS Caltex built the golden tower of the most championships in KOVO Cup history, driven by the support and encouragement of Club Chairman Heo Se-hong (56).

On the 18th, GS Caltex defeated Korea Expressway Corporation 3-2 in set score in the women's final of the 2026 Yeosu·NH Nonghyup Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament held at Jinnam Gymnasium in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province. It was their first cup tournament victory in three years and their seventh overall title, the most ever in the women's division.

The rest schedule conducted during the tournament became the stepping stone to the championship. According to the club, the team visited Yeosu's "GS Caltex Yeulmaru" and "Art Island Jangdo" on the 13th, immediately after their first group league match, at the invitation of Club Chairman Heo Se-hong. The players relaxed and refreshed their atmosphere by touring Yeulmaru, a complex cultural and art space, and the Jangdo exhibition hall.

It is said that the effect of the rest was reflected in the results. After reorganizing their minds and bodies, GS Caltex went on a three-game winning streak immediately after visiting Yeulmaru to lift the championship trophy.

Immediately after the victory, Chairman Heo expressed pride in the "valuable championship" and encouraged the team. He praised the team's teamwork, noting their concentration and fighting spirit throughout the tournament, and also conveyed gratitude to the employees of GS Caltex Yeosu Plant who cheered on-site.

GS Caltex plans to carry the momentum from this cup tournament victory into the 2026~2027 season V-League regular season.
