Women's baseball players from across the country are gathering in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, to compete using the skills they have honed throughout the season.

The "2026 LX Cup Korea Women's Baseball Tournament," co-hosted and organized by the LX Group and the Korea Women's Baseball Federation, will be held from the 24th through November 1 at Icheon LG Champions Park and Dream Stadium.

Now in its fifth year, this tournament features a total of 43 teams and approximately 1,200 players, including 16 teams from the Champ League (Division 1) and 27 teams from the Future League (Division 2). Each team will compete in a tournament format, aiming for the top spot in both the Champ League and the Future League.

The LX Cup Korea Women's Baseball Tournament, which began in 2022, has established itself as a venue where women's baseball teams from all over the country gather each year to compete and exchange ideas. It provides players with opportunities to gain practical experience and improve their skills, while also contributing to the expansion of the domestic women's baseball base.

Lim Hye-jin (Chairman) of the Korea Women's Baseball Federation stated, "Women's baseball is steadily growing and receiving much love based on the continuous efforts and challenges of the players," adding, "A tournament where players from all over the country gather to compete in their skills serves as an opportunity not only for individual player growth but also for the overall development of women's baseball."

He/She further conveyed, "We will do our best to expand the base of women's baseball and cultivate outstanding players so that athletes can showcase their abilities in a better environment and pursue bigger dreams."

Strong teams face off right from the opening game. On the 24th, "Hura," challenging for a fourth consecutive tournament title, will clash with traditional powerhouse "Nine VIXX" in the first match. On the final day of the tournament, November 1, the finals for each league, along with the closing ceremony and awards presentation, will take place.

All games at the tournament are free to watch. Major matches, including the opening game and the finals, will be broadcast live on the YouTube channels "Korea Women's Baseball Federation" and "Choi Banjang TV."
