Comedian Lee Hwi-jae has no criminal history and no story.

Lee Hwi-jae returned to the broadcaster after four years with the appearance of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' (hereinafter referred to as 'Immortal Songs') on the 28th of last month.

Earlier in 2022, Lee Hwi-jae suspended all activities due to a series of gossip, including inter-floor noise problems, unpaid toys from his wife Moon Jung-won, and YouTube back advertisements, and left for Canada with his family.

As a result, Lee Hwi-jae's return became akin to confirming only cold public opinion. The "Immortal" viewer bulletin board was flooded with opposition to the appearance, and the production team could not avoid criticism.

It is a harsh standard for Lee Hwi-jae, who has no criminal history, but this is why his unfavorable image to the public has been solidified in that there is no story of waves.

At best, the return stage, which pushed through criticism, and the hot tears shed in "Immortal" were soon stained with unsavory sightings.

Attention is focused again after "Immortal," and past sightings have been dug up. On the 6th of last month, the Korean community in Vancouver, Canada, shared an article about Lee Hwi-jae's "Immortal" appearance and said, "I heard Lee Hwi-jae lived in Vancouver. Has anyone seen it. I heard you're returning to the show, but I'm suddenly curious about where you lived in Vancouver."

But one netizen said, "I lived in Nolan (North Vancouver). An acquaintance I encountered on the street by chance asked, "Isn't it Lee Hwi-jae?" and (Lee Hwi-jae) just walked by."

In response, "Even in Canada, there is not a single story. The netizen, who left a witness, added, "The reason why the acquaintance remembered this was because the eyes (Lee Hwi-jae's) were ignored, saying, "I felt so bad."
