It has been confirmed that actor Lee Sung-min directly contacted actress Shin Se-kyung regarding his remarks during the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards.

On the 17th, an official from Lee Sung-min's agency, HB Entertainment, told StarNews, "We understand that Lee Sung-min and Shin Se-kyung have personally been in contact."

It is reported that Lee Sung-min directly contacted Shin Se-kyung the day after the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony held on the 8th to clear up the misunderstanding.

At the awards ceremony, Lee Sung-min, who won the male Jo Yeon-sang-eul (수상) award in the film category for the movie 'No Way Out' directed by Park Chan-wook, said, "I don't know how nervous Yum Hye-ran, who co-starred in the film, must have been for being nominated. I even cursed inside because Yum Hye-ran didn't win the award."

At the time, Yum Hye-ran was also nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award in the film category for 'No Way Out,' but when Shin Se-kyung won the award for the film 'Human, Interrupted,' Lee Sung-min expressed some disappointment. However, immediately after the awards ceremony, online comments criticized Lee Sung-min for being somewhat rude to Shin Se-kyung, causing the issue to escalate.
