Actor Ryu Seung-ryong promoted the film 'Wild Thing'.

On the 27th, Ryu Seung-ryong posted a video on his Instagram with the caption, "With the popularity of 'Eardrum Boyfriend' Choi Seong-gon, a niche singer named Choi Seong-gun has appeared. A bit scary."

The released video features Ryu Seung-ryong covering the song 'I Like You' by Choi Seong-gon (played by Oh Jung-se) from the film 'Wild Thing' (directed by Son Jae-gon), which is set to be released on June 3.

'Wild Thing' is a comedy film about a three-member mixed dance group called 'Triangle', which once dominated the music industry but was unexpectedly involved in an incident and disbanded overnight, as they attempt a reckless challenge to seize a chance for redemption after 20 years. Oh Jung-se plays the role of 'Choi Seong-gon', the ballad prince who dominated the music scene of that era alongside Triangle.

It is reported that Ryu Seung-ryong voluntarily posted the cover video based on his affection for Oh Jung-se, with whom he shares a meal. Lee Ha-ni also left a comment saying, "Oppa gave me goosebumps."

Meanwhile, Ryu Seung-ryong won the Grand Prize in the Broadcasting category at the '62nd Baeksang Arts Awards' held on the 8th for JTBC's 'The Story of Manager Kim, Who Works at a Large Corporation in Seoul' (hereinafter 'The Story of Manager Kim'). He has now begun filming for the Disney+ series 'Moving Season 2'.
