While group IVE member Jang Won-young has been dealing with controversy over her airport conduct at an unexpected time, footage was captured showing her handing over her passport politely with both hands.

Jang Won-young departed from Gimpo International Airport on the 30th of last month along with other IVE members to carry out a schedule in Shanghai, China.

At the time, a short video showing the back of Jang Won-young undergoing departure screening went viral online, prompting some to raise concerns about her conduct. This was due to claims that she crossed her arms in front of airport staff or accepted her passport with one hand.

However, a video shot from a different angle, not showing her back, captured a completely different scene. In reality, when it was Jang Won-young's turn for departure screening, she politely handed her passport to the airport staff with both hands and faithfully complied with the staff's request to show her face.

Furthermore, it was confirmed that while Jang Won-young did cross her arms, it was only for a very brief moment while the staff scanned her passport with the machine. Afterward, she accepted her passport with one hand and left. However, considering the full context before and after the incident, which was not fully captured in the controversial video, the prevailing view is that the conduct controversy is somewhat far-fetched.

As videos shot from different angles were released, many netizens reacted with comments such as, "This is why you need to see the full context before and after," "It seems the misunderstanding arose because the scene of her handing over her passport politely with both hands was not captured," "She cooperated with all situations, so it's hard to understand why a conduct controversy emerged," and "It's an everyday action, so the criticism is excessive."
