"As a 30-year-old suspect A, charged with robbery and assault for illegally entering singer and actress Nana's home, was sentenced to seven years in prison, Nana shared her feelings.

"On the 9th, in the afternoon, Nana posted on her social media: 'Who is the victim?'

"She continued, 'Multiple trials by the criminal. Six public trials, one sentencing trial today, totaling seven. Consistent false testimony and retraction. The criminal shows no remorse.'

"She further emphasized, 'During this process, the Prosecution Service requested a 10-year sentence. The court sentenced him to three years and seven years in prison. For special robbery and assault, the sentence is also seven years or more in prison. There is no remorse. There is no forgiveness.'

"The First Criminal Division (Da) of the Namyangju Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court held a sentencing hearing for suspect A on charges of robbery and assault today, sentencing A to seven years in prison. In the previous sentencing trial, the Prosecution Service had requested a 10-year prison term.

"Suspect A was indicted for allegedly breaking into Nana's residence in Achon-dong, Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do, at 10 a.m. on November 15 last year, threatening Nana and her mother with a weapon, and attempting to steal money. At the time, Nana and her mother fought with A, subdued him, and reported the incident to the police. In the process, both Nana and her mother were injured.

"Subsequently, A counter-sued Nana for attempted murder and other charges, claiming he was injured while being subdued by Nana and her mother. However, the police determined that Nana's actions were self-defense and decided not to file charges. Nana filed a counter-suit against A for false accusation."
