Actor Chan Sun-woo, formerly active as Jiro of idol group B1A4, has signed an exclusive contract with US C&M.

On the 20th, US C&M stated, "Chan Sun-woo is an actor who has built his own acting spectrum by moving between dramas, films, and stages, and an artist with charm that can expand into various content." The company added, "Based on our capabilities in artist branding and content production, we will work together to showcase Chan Sun-woo's new side not only in acting but also across diverse fields."

Chan Sun-woo debuted as Jiro of B1A4 in 2011. He made his acting debut in 2013 by playing the role of Binggre in tvN's "Reply 1994," earning recognition from the public for this performance.

Subsequently, Chan Sun-woo received praise for delicately portraying Ki Young-gyu, a character with an intellectual disability, in SBS's "Gifted Man - 14 Days." He then took on roles including Hong Sang-tae in MBC's "Angry Mom," elite detective Chae Dong-yoon from the police academy in MBC's "Bad Cop," and male lead Kang Hee-je in MBC Drama Net's "Romance Villain."

In film, Chan Sun-woo appeared in "Fearless," "Seduction," and "Windmill," while continuing activities across various media including theater and one-off dramas. By portraying diverse characters ranging from a pure individual to an intellectual disability, elite detective, and comedic younger man, he has established himself as an "all-rounder" actor who transcends the label of former idol, seamlessly moving between good and evil, serious drama and comedy.

Chan Sun-woo will star in the upcoming film "Vertex" (working title) alongside his new agency, taking on the lead role of Suho, the protagonist driving the story. "Vertex" is a youth comedy music romance depicting how a man who gave up music and a woman who wants to sing but cannot pursue her dream due to various circumstances fill each other's voids and become the pinnacle of their lives. The film aims to warmly capture the reality, growth, and love of young people living today through humor and music.

Chan Sun-woo said, "I am honored to start anew with US C&M. I want to repay those who trusted and waited for me with great works and diverse appearances. Please show your interest and support for my future activities."

Meanwhile, US C&M is a management company under Earth Alliance that supports the growth of various artists based on its capabilities in artist branding and content production. Through this acquisition of Chan Sun-woo, the company plans to further strengthen its management competitiveness.
