CORTIS member Sung-hyun secured the No. 2 spot in Star Ranking's Male Idol category.

In the 248th Star Ranking Male Idol vote held from 3:01 p.m. on the 23rd to 3:00 p.m. on the 30th, Sung-hyun received 154,561 votes and finished in second place.

Notably, like a "monster rookie," Sung-hyun drew attention with high numbers, trailing only BTS's Jimin, who is dubbed the "global idol." Jimin secured the top position with 204,612 votes.

Other top-ranked artists included BTS's Jin in third place (52,217 votes), 2PM member and actor Lee Jun-ho in fourth place (31,799 votes), and BTS's V in fifth place (4,652 votes).

Meanwhile, Star Ranking is a ranking poll where fans directly vote for their favorite stars to determine the standings. When voting via mobile, voters can receive a voting certificate, and depending on the final ranking, various special benefits are provided to the star.

Stars who rank first for four consecutive weeks will be featured in outdoor digital billboard advertisements. Fans of stars who maintain the No. 1 position for four consecutive weeks may also request fan portraits using the outdoor billboard video. Requests should be submitted via StarNews' official email (star@mtstarnews.com).

Starting with the June vote, results will be factored into the selection of AAA 2026 Star Ranking award winners.
