Super Junior member and actor Choi Si-won directly stopped a foreigner who was about to smoke at Gyeongbokgung Palace.

On the 18th, a video titled "Tour of the Palace in the Rain, Gyeongbokgung Palace (feat. Teacher Yang In-eok)" was released on Choi Si-won's YouTube channel. On that day, Choi Si-won set out on a Gyeongbokgung Palace tour with Yang In-eok, a volunteer guide and guardian of the palace.

Choi Si-won said, "I have been following Teacher Yang personally on SNS and deeply respect him," adding, "His dedication to loving and serving Korean culture has been a great inspiration, which is why I visited him today," expressing his admiration for Yang In-eok.

Yang In-eok introduced himself as "Yang In-eok, a volunteer guide and guardian of Gyeongbokgung Palace," then explained about Gyeongbokgung Palace before the tour began in earnest.

Choi Si-won said, "I believe Gyeongbokgung Palace exists because there are people like Teacher Yang who dedicate themselves," conveying his gratitude toward those who protect our cultural heritage.

The two moved to the front of Gyeongbokgung Palace and discussed Seosu (a traditional Korean architectural element). At that moment, a foreigner was spotted attempting to smoke.

Upon noticing this, Choi Si-won asked Yang In-eok, "Is it allowed to smoke over there?" Yang replied, "No." Immediately afterward, Choi Si-won approached the foreigner and said, "Excuse me, please," stopping him from smoking. When the foreigner put down his cigarette, Choi Si-won greeted him with "Thank you."

Afterward, Choi Si-won and Yang In-eok toured various parts of Gyeongbokgung Palace, introducing the history and meaning behind each location. At the end of the video, a message was included in both Korean and English: "Freedom and peace are never taken for granted. The today we enjoy is precious time built upon the noble sacrifices of those who dedicated themselves to our nation," evoking deep emotion.
