Broadcast personality Park Soo-hong bowed his head over a controversy regarding a flight delay and, seemingly mindful of the negative public opinion, closed the comment section.

As of the 27th, Park Soo-hong restricted the comment function on an apology post about the flight delay controversy published on his family's SNS.

Earlier, on the 26th, Park Soo-hong stated via his own SNS, "A departure delay issue occurred due to our family during the airplane departure process," and added, "This caused significant inconvenience by taking away many people's precious time and also caused damage to airline staff."

He continued, "With my head bowed, I sincerely offer my apologies," explaining the situation at the time.

According to Park Soo-hong, immediately after boarding the plane, his child began crying so loudly that he could not be seated, and in a state of panic, he conveyed his intention to get off the plane to the onboard staff. Park Soo-hong explained, "I was concerned that the child's crying during the long flight would cause greater damage to passengers, so I initially conveyed my intention to disembark to the onboard staff."

However, while waiting inside the aircraft, the child stopped crying, and the situation changed. Although Park Soo-hong expressed his intention to board again, it was reported that this process caused a departure delay.

Park Soo-hong stated, "While waiting inside the aircraft, the child stopped crying, and I expressed my intention to board again, but I failed to realize that this could significantly delay time for security checks and other procedures." He further added, "This was entirely due to my ignorance of aviation-related procedures, leaving no room for any excuse," admitting his fault.

Park Soo-hong apologized once more, saying, "I bow my head again to deeply apologize to the passengers and airline staff who suffered great damage due to my inadequacies."
