Comedian Kim Jae-woo paid tribute to the late Lee Yong-ju.

On the 30th, Kim posted a photo from tvN's 'Blue Tower' featuring himself and the late Lee Yong-ju on his social media, writing, "Even now, I can vividly recall him walking toward us with a bright smile from afar whenever we were on set."

He recalled the late actor's presence by saying, "Yong-ju was a kind person who genuinely cared for his colleagues and an actor more passionate than anyone else. Today, with a heavy and sorrowful heart, I saw him off as he departed."

Continuing, he expressed his longing for the late actor: "I would sit alone feeling pitifully lonely, hoping he might sit beside me once. So I stayed there for a long time before leaving. Hey Shin-pyeong! Please come visit me in my dreams sometimes. Let's cook that curly-haired stew together like we used to."

He added, "I hope Yong-ju becomes an actor who is remembered in people's hearts for a long time."

Lee Yong-ju passed away suddenly on the 29th at the age of 44. Reports indicate the cause was a heart attack.

Lee made his debut in the 2004 film 'Doma Ahn Jung-geun' and appeared in MBC's 'Hello, Francesca' and 'Palace.' He gained particular popularity through the tvN series 'The Unlucky Young Lady' franchise and 'Blue Tower.'
