BTS (BTS) Jung-kook has been selected again as the top male beauty, sparking discussion.

The American magazine 'Netizens Report' announced that Jung-kook, who received over 31 million votes, was ranked No. 1 in 'The Most Handsome Man Alive 2026'.

This is the result of a global survey conducted through web voting, an official app, and social media (SNS) platforms over several months. Netizens Report stated that this produced the largest result in its history. Jung-kook received this title for the second time after being named 'The Most Handsome Man of 2023', and also topped the list for 'The Most Handsome Man in Korea in 2024' in 2024.

Netizens Report explained, "Jung-kook, nicknamed BTS's 'Golden Maknae', has shown outstanding talent in all fields, growing from a child prodigy into a super star representing the era." It added, "As a solo artist, he has topped the charts and made his face known everywhere in the world as a superstar by delivering record-breaking performances."

Previously, Jung-kook took first place on 'The 100 Most Handsome Faces in the World in 2019' selected by the U.S. film site 'TC Candler'. In 2018, he was the only Asian to be named among the 'Top 10 Most Handsome Men in the World' selected not by fan votes but through professional institutional investors by the U.S. media company 'Gadget Review', and also ranked second in 'Like TCCAsia', an Asia-Pacific initiative of TC Candler, for 'Most Handsome Man in Asia-Pacific 2018'.

In addition, he was selected for Elle Girl Russia's 'Elle Boy of the Year: Top 10 Most Dashing Men of 2021' and Brazil's media outlet 'Portal Marimba's' 'Top 20 Most Beautiful Men in the World in 2020'. In KingChoice's 'Top 100 Most Handsome Men in the World in 2022' vote, he ranked first for two consecutive years. He also topped FanTou's 'Best Visuals of the First Half of 2022 - Male Category' and an online survey titled 'Most Handsome Male Idol Born in 1997'.

From January 1 to July 31, 2026, Jung-kook ranked as the most mentioned singer on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), surpassing Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, and Harry Styles.
